Moleskine Exchange
I've just come across some of these while reading other artist's blogs. What a fab idea; a small bunch of artists, from about 3 to about 12, decide to buy, draw or paint in, and them swap Molekine sketchbooks. They're the small Japanese accordian ones, only 3.5" x 5.5" small.
I know someone who participated in a quilting round robin, and it sounds like a similar idea.
In the group who's activities I'm watching, Moly x 12 , some have chosen a theme for their books, such as 'green' and 'horizon' others are just letting it go with the flow. Sounds like a great idea.
I've contacted one lady who missed joining the Moly x 12 group, and am hoping she'll respond. So if anyone's interested in setting up an exchange, please get in touch. Here's hoping.

Hi Yellow,
thanks for the link. Have you had any interested potential participants? There were two people who missed our group - one was a lady called Lor Lor, from Ireland, and the other Anita Davies. I also had a good few enquiries on Flickr. You could always leave a message on the Flickr Moley X group. It's a great idea, isn't it? I'm just hoping that the Royal Mail doesn't lose to many of them. Can you imagine how embarassing that would be?!
BTW, what are you doing in your profile pic. Running or dancing? Just wondered!
Hiya Andrea, LorLor is the lady I've contacted. I tried to log into Flicker, but I'm getting my passwords muddled, and it locked me out after I'd tried a dozen computations. I think I'll have to try again when my brain is plugged in.
I think it's a fantastic idea, the moley exchanges. I also like the idea of leaving art for people to find. And only one lifetime to do it all in.
Oh, I'm dancing to Fairport Convention at the Cropredy Festival in the photo. I don't do the 'r' work, not for sport anyway.
I'd be interested in joining the exchange. Just found it myself and I've participated in other types of rounds and would like to try this!
