Okay, I worked on this using acrylics. I love the forehead, and that may be all that I keep. The eye hasn't got enough feeling in it, and the under-eye area I always struggle with when working in colour.

Dad, you said 'sorry', so is this a negative commen? Do you not like the expression on my face. It's because I'm peering at myself, frowning and staring at what I can see in the mirror and on the page, struggling to make the right marks that represent what I see.
I may do a series of self portraits in the future capturing a range of expressions and emotions. At the moment I just want to get my likeness down on paper, working over and over areas as I need to.
